Born in Athens, Mr. Morrison was the son of the late Thelma Stewart and Henry Grady Morrison. He served in the United States Army and later retired from his career of 25 years as a fishing guide on Lake Lanier.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Morrison; brother, Charles Wayne Morrison; numerous cousins, a nephew, great nephew and great niece.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Reverend Dave Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
