A native of Clarke County, GA, Mr. Bramblett was the son of the late Robert L. and Minnie Hill Bramblett and was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Bramblett. He was a salesman for Athens Coca Cola, Lance Inc, and retired from Athens Janitor Supply. He served in the United States Navy aboard the Saratoga during World War II. Mr. Bramblett was an active member of Princeton United Methodist Church where he has held many offices over the years.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Vera Arnold Bramblett; daughter, Diane Jarrett (Robert) of Hull; sister, Rolyn Arnold of Nicholson; grandchildren, Laura Baker (Shane) of Winder, Katherine Quarles (James) of Lincolnton; one great-grandson, JR Quarles, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1PM, Wednesday, December 4th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. DeeDee Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30AM-1PM prior to the service at Bernstein.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the memorial fund of Princeton United Methodist Church, 2390 S. Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30603.
