Jerry was born June 7, 1944 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Lillian Irene Whitehead Nash and Jewell Carlton Nash. He lived a short time in Atlanta as a child before moving with his family to Jefferson, where he graduated from Jefferson High School. Jerry owned and operated JC Nash Truck Parts from 1967 until his retirement in 1994. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Jennings Mill Country Club and very much enjoyed camping and RVing. He was a member of the Bulldog Camping Club and the Enduro Cherokee Motorcycle Club and attended Oconee River Church.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Betty L. Nash of Watkinsville; sons, Mark Nash (Cindy) of Hull; Lane Nash (Kelli) of Watkinsville; and Brook Nash (Janna) of Walland, TN; sister, June Sanders; grandchildren, Blake Nash (Cameran), Max Nash (Micaela), Alex Nash, Hallee Nash, Anna Nash, Matthew Nash, Grace Nash, Josie Nash, Clare Nash, Betsy Lane Nash, great-grandchildren, Grayson Nash, Grant Nash, Gage Nash and Teagan Nash.
A private memorial service will be held.
Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Athens, Georgia.
