A native of Bayside, New York, Mrs. Parris was the daughter of the late Damroch Forest Wilkinson and Clara Elizabeth Arsele Wilkinson. She retired from the New York Police Department as a 911 operator.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Parris of Athens; daughters, Patricia A. Ryan, June E. Parris, and Michelle D. Craddock; sons, Donald C. Parris, Glenn R. Parris, and Arthur J. Parris; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, March 29th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Parrish officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Wednesday, March 28th at Bernstein.
