Lee graduated from Cedar Shoals High School in 1980 and soon entered the United States Marine Corps, where he served honorably for six years. That same steady sense of duty carried through a working life defined by reliability and perseverance. Lee spent over forty years as a truck driver and was currently employed with US Cargo Logistics.
Away from the road, Lee found genuine enjoyment in hot rod cars and in attending car shows—interests that reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship, character, and the pride of a well-made machine.
Lee is survived by his wife, Virginia Kaye Adams, of Colbert, Georgia; his son, Hunter Lee Adams, of Richardson, Texas; and his sister, Patty Adams, of Nicholson, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Durrell Adams, and his mother, Helen Garrison Adams.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
