A scientific conversation, talk of plants and growing, and jam and preserves- somewhere in there, reference to mechanical repair and/or computer stuff. How many people can do that? Great hats and that voice that conjured memories of England. His presence is missed.

Rest in peace now, Joseph.  You lived as a true Renaissance Man, an independent and original thinker, and a remarkably kind and likable chap as well.  I'm glad I had the chance to meet you.

It breaks my heart. I should have and could have and would have been a closer buddy. I just didn't know.

I miss my friend Joseph and our arguments about cooking and language -- whether to use oil in cooking pasta (NO! I was right), how to pluralize panini (already plural - he was right), and whether a child's play structure could accurately be called "lurid" (We never agreed, but I think he knows I was right). And the blueberry jam! Heaven on toast! Peace, Joseph.

I grew up knowing him and have so many  memories of his humor and wit and all of the good in him. He was always the funny british dad that was great with cakes and plants and if there is an afterlife I hope that is what he is doing now.

Our dear friend Joseph is sorely missed by all that were blessed by his kindness, brilliant wit and the fount of his talent, from the scientific realm to the artisanal.  God bless and keep his spirit in joy, and give the comfort of remembrance to his family and all his friends.  We will all gather in his memory in January.

Joseph was a good friend and technology mentor.  I was fortunate to meet him back in the early 90's and have many great memories of our times and adventures together.  I'll keep those memories close.  I miss you, dude.  Godspeed.

Losing someone we love is nothing easy, but knowing that we have been able to be a part of the life of that person, we can realize that we are blessed to have been able to share in his life....remembering the days of Pizza/ Trivial Pursuit ...... May you rest in peace...xxxxx
