She was born in Virginia to the late Garland and Louise Smith Porterfield. She was a caring wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan, and devoted to the Lord.
Survivors include her husband, Darryle Moore of Statham, GA; youngest daughter, Sarah Moore-Perren and grandson, Foster Perren, of Marietta, GA; oldest daughter, Carrington Moore, and son-in-law, John Hunter Biebighauser, of Atlanta, GA; as well as brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Cella Porterfield; sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Eddie Ray Barton; and brother and sister-in-law Robert and Harriett Shrader, along with countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
A reception and celebration of Judy’s life will be held at Larry Porterfield’s home located at 909 Glade Road, Wytheville, VA 24382 on March 28, 2026 at 1:00PM.
