Kathleen Brewer

Born in Whitfield County, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Lela Berger Floyd and was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Brewer attended Towns County High School where at five feet two inches she was an outstanding basketball player. She was a homemaker and longtime member of the Bogart Baptist Church.

Survivors include the father of her children Herbert Mell Brewer, children Anne Brewer of Watkinsville, Denise Burgess and husband Keith of Arnoldsville, Brenda Adams of Zebulon and Carol Kennedy of Arnoldsville; brother, Jerry, sisters Pauline and Edith, grandchildren Kristy Tiller and husband Billy, Brian Burgess, Wesley Adams and wife Amy, John Kennedy and wife Mary Jo, Natalie James and husband Ryan, Angie Stinchcomb and husband T.J., Beverly Tate and Benji Wheeler; great grandchildren HaileyJoe Burgess, Braxton Burgess, Blake Kennedy, Zack Kennedy, Frankie James, Wilson James, Thomas Wheeler, Brook Adams, Allie Grace Adams, Payton Stinchcomb, Chandler Stinchcomb, Elijah Tate and Ashley Tate.

Graveside services will be 4pm Monday at the Bogart Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Hayes officiating. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Homestead Hospice, 1731 Meriweather Dr. # 107, Bogart, Georgia 30622.
