Born in Oldenburg, Indiana, Mr. Green grew up in Liberty, Indiana. His parents were the late Robert Hayes Green and Hazel Maxine Lancaster. He retired from United States Army in 1976 as Chief Warrant Officer and spent his career in the automotive business as a dealership owner and office manager.
Survivors include wife, Caroline Zimmerman Green of Bogart; daughter, Laura Stiles and husband, Todd of Bogart; brothers, Norman Green and Ivan Green; sister, Velva Hoch, and grandchildren, Kenny Stiles and Ariana Stiles.
Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, February 20th at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will take place at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday, February 19th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
