A native of Putnam County, Mrs. Lee was a daughter of the late Tom E. McDonald and Lelia Twilley McDonald. She was retired from Mount Vernon Mills and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Lee was a walker with the Georgia Square Mall Walkers and friends at Lanier Gardens.
Survivors include husband, Billy E. Lee of Athens; daughters, Billie Kay Vandiver of Greensboro and Fay Clark of Rome; five granddaughters and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
