Lorene Chandler Moseman

Lorene was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Jewell W. Chandler and was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Howard; her grandson, Blake; her brother, Bill Chandler, and her sister, Mary Brooks.

Lorene was a longtime member of Young Harris United Methodist Church, a member of the Co-Workers Sunday school class and The Older Gems. She was a loving, devoted Mama, Grandmother, “Mimi”, and “Big Ma” who cherished time spent with her family and loved taking care of her yard. She was an example to her family of independence and love.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Lanier Orr and Sandra and Roger Sullivan; three grandchildren, Angie Eades(Bryan), Trey Seagraves(Andrea), and Paige Meyer(Robert), and her precious great grandchildren, Austin and Brice Eades, Davis, Griffin, and Cate Meyer, and George, Mary, and Molly Seagraves. She is also survived by three brothers, E. Jack Chandler, Jerry Chandler, and Bobby Chandler; two sisters, Jean Edwards and Maudene McCannon, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Nelms, Stan Wilkinson, Russ Field, Bryan Craft, Johnny Simmons, and Ricky Scarborough.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, February 25th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Carey Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM prior to the service.
