Louis Bell Holt III

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Bell Holt II and Bessie Lee Vance Holt.

LB was born in Paducah, KY on July 4, 1919. He graduated from Tilghman High School and attended the University of Kentucky at Paducah. He retired from Moore Business Forms in Charlotte, NC after 39 years of service. LB was an Elder Emeritus at Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC, and a member of Dilworth Rotary Club.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Norma Skinner Holt of Athens; sons, Charlie(Bobbie) Holt of Athens and Ed(Erin) Holt of Buford; daughters, Ellen(Johnny) White of Charlotte, NC and Janet Dominy of Pearl, MS; grandchildren, Jay(Stephanie) White, Marc(Melissa) White, Lea(Jess) Lempesis, Ashley Mobley, Chris(Krystal) Holt, Matthew Dominy, Zachary Dominy, Abbey Dominy, and Jordan Dominy, Jamie Holt, Nathan Holt, and Ethan Seong, Jessica and Wayland Boozer; great-grandchildren, Callie, Layla, Abbie Claire, Anna Riley, and soon-to-be Annabelle.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, September 27th at Central Presbyterian Church in Athens with Reverend Charles Cook and Dr. Robert Bohler officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service. Interment will be held at Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church Columbarium in Charlotte, NC at a later date.
