Lucile Lindsey Cartwright

Born in Quitman, Georgia, Mrs. Cartwright was one of eight daughters born to the late Arthur Lee and Orrie Mae Lindsey.

Survivors include sons, Marion Cartwright of Athens and Charles Cartwright of Albany; daughter, Joanna Cartwright Cochran and husband, Jimmy of Commerce; sister, Louise Brady of Daytona Beach, FL; grandchildren, Brian Cartwright and Dean Cartwright both of Athens, Dr. Reed Cartwright and wife, Tiffany of Chandler, AZ, Andrew Cook of Atlanta, and Taylor Cook of Athens, and great-grandson, Jay Alexander Cartwright of Chandler, AZ.

Graveside services will be held 11AM Thursday, August 16th at Evergreen Memorial Park with Dr. Jon Appleton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Wednesday, August 15th at Bernstein Funeral Home.

The grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Hospice and Bentley Assisted Living.
