Born in Bibb County she was the daughter of the late George Allen and Margaret Wright Watson. Mrs. Skinner was a graduate of the University of Georgia where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and was also a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church and the Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband Malcolm Skinner of Athens; daughters Margaret Skinner, Karen Skinner and Carol Skinner all of Athens and Stephanie Tuttle and husband Mike of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Stacey Tuttle, Travis Tuttle and wife Kami, Clayton Tuttle and wife Jennifer, Lauren Swinford and husband Drew and Marcy Fluevog and husband Blake and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
