Born February 9, 1933, in Starkville, MS, Margie was the daughter of the late Luther Brown and Verna Leach Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James “Bill” Blailock; brothers: Warren, Herman, Robert and Kenneth Brown; and sister, Brenda Brown Lee. Margie was a member of Bogart United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters: Anita (Clint) Gavigan of Winterville, GA and Gina (Steve) Hansford of Watkinsville, GA; grandchildren: Mandy (Chuck) Freeman, Shiloh Lindsey, Hilary Gavigan, and Shane Lindsey (Mohua Basu); and great-granddaughters: Audrey Bliss and Regan Lyons.
A cryptside service will be held Tuesday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m., at the Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Rev. Megan Gomez officiating.
