Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Kehoe, of Athens, Georgia.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Finney of Roswell, Georgia and Mrs. Moira Stovall of Athens, Georgia; three brothers, Clayton, Ethan and Harrison; one sister, Ariel; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Kehoe of Athens, Georgia; paternal grandparents, Garnett and Barrie Finney of Athens, Georgia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Matt was residing with his grandparents, Garnett and Barrie Finney, while attending Athens Technical College with plans to transfer to Kennesaw State University in the spring. Matt loved life and everyone in his life loved Matt. He leaves a huge void in all of our hearts. He was a beautiful soul who anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin or friend.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 15 at 3 p.m. at Saint Stephen's Anglican Catholic Church, 800 Timothy Rd., Athens, Georgia.
