Dr. Merry Pritchett  giving a presentation on her work as a Chemist with the USDA Food Safety Service.   Merry  made this presentation at the Global Food Security Symposium at  Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension, Baton Rouge LA. 
We are forever grateful for the her presentation and inspirational she gave to  University and K-12 students that they came achieve academically.     Love from the Morgan, Collins, and Womack families from Baton Rouge LA. 
  

I have fond memories of Merry while we attended San Pasqual Academy.  Along with Josie, we three girls were often trading the academic lead back and forth for our class of 1976. Merry was always a quiet yet steadfast young woman who had a mindful purpose of excellence. She inspired me to do my best. Looking forward to seeing her again in Heaven.

When I read about Merry I saw in my mind a sweet and loving 16 year old , always smiling and saying hi . That was close to 50 years ago and I was blessed to know if only for a short time.  We always have hope in Jesus until we meet again

I'm so sad to hear of Merry's passing. She was such a fun and happy girl in high school. I always enjoyed hanging around Merry. She had a Love for Jesus that showed in everything she did. 
We will all be together again when Jesus comes to take us all home with him, all new in our new bodies he will give us. 
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Hugs!

I remember when Merry first arrived in Athens, GA to work as a Chemist at the USDA.  It seems like yesterday, but it was at least 15years ago.  She was devoted to her faith and we spent lots of time together in ministry.  She also loved driving and visiting parks to spend time in nature.  She was a dear friend.  My prayers are with her family and friends.  

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words”.

Mary was always a very nice and respectful young lady. Mother and Father taught her life experiences .

Merry, one of my dearest friends for many years. She sent Happy Sabbath greetings every wk. We spoke often. I believe she loved the Lord, lived her life for Him. 
I hold memories dear, and so happy we were friends. She enriched your life with wit, and her wonder down to earth logic. She was a Real person. I will continue to keep the family in my prayers. We on the outside have lost a wonderful friend. The family, a most loved one. We loved her too. 

To the family:
Please accept our condolences for the loss of Merry.  When we talked to her last, days before she passed, we were all praying and hoping for healing.  Nevertheless,  our prayer was, not our will, but God's be done.  We look forward to that blessed hope when we will see Merry again.  Until then, let's all draw closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and be ready when He comes!  

This is a pic of my last time visiting with Merry at the Athens SDA church about two years ago. I still cannot believe that you went down so fast. But God's knows the end from the beginning.  Merry May the Most High God comfort your brothers, other family members, co-workers, and of course your church family. We all thank God for your faithfulness in Him and His Word, and know that we will
see you the the Resurrection. SIP Merry 🙏

We are deeply saddened by the death of Merry.  We send or prayers to God and our kind thoughts to the family. Soon and very soon Merry and the rest of us that love Christ, will see the King coming in the clouds of glory to pick up His children. 

My prayers are with the family at this time for this loss.. but the blessed hope is that we all will see Merry very soon in a new body and in vigor of health.
