Michael Joseph Reeves

Michael is survived by his mother, Jean Reeves and father, James Reeves, both of Watkinsville, GA; his sisters, Sherri of Jacksonville, FL and Joni Reeves Little of Athens, GA; his brothers, Jared Reeves and Jason Fitzpatrick, both of Watkinsville, GA; his sisters-in-law, Katy Reeves of Watkinsville, GA and Leslie Reeves Hardcastle of Hendersonville, TN; and Uncle Gerald Bradshaw of Bishop, GA.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Cpl. Joshua H. Reeves (KIA-OIF 2007).

Michael was born on January 21, 1992 in Jackson County, Georgia. He attended Oconee County Schools.

Michael worked various jobs within the community. He recently discovered a passion for the food industry while working at a local Italian restaurant. Michael loved to read and spend quality time with his family and friends. He had a contagious smile and a kind heart.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 2 at 11 a.m. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1080 Julian Drive, Watkinsville, with Bishop Dexter Joyner officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
