Nancy Alinda Deal

She was born on October 9, 1940 in Covington, Georgia, to Gladys and Hubert Crawley. A member of Athens High School Class of 1958, Nancy went on to work in local medical offices and Athens Regional Hospital, as well as the Athens Business Council. Nancy was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, who will be remembered for her endless kindness, loving heart and thoughtful manner.

Survivors include two sons, Shaun (Gina) Deal of Cumming and Gregory (Jocelyn) Deal of Athens; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jamie (Taylor), Jacob, and Nathaniel; one great-grandchild, Madison; two brothers, David (Karen) Crawley of Suwanee and Jerry (Wanda) Crawley of Athens; one sister, Lynn Crawley (Bill) Reynolds of Watkinsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Larry (Lily) Crawley and sister, Janet “Gay” Crawley.

A private graveside service will be held in Covington, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011, be made in her name.
