Lou was born May 27, 1919 to Seab Reese Fowler and Lester Harriet Chandler Fowler. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Harvey Robinson, Jr., her son Harry Harvey "Rob" Robinson, III, and her brothers, Gene Fowler and James Fowler, Shortly after her death, her sister, Polly Fowler Holbrook, also died.
She is survived by her brother, Aubrey Fowler, and her sister, Kathryn Fowler Duggan and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her former business partner and longtime friend, Gilbert Milner.
Mrs. Robinson's family would like to acknowledge her wonderful caregivers: Wanda Bell, LaShauna Stewart, Toi Dixson, Philomena Tawiah and Agatha Esi-Dzifa Appiah for their devoted service during her time of need.
Miss Lou, as her friends called her, was an active member of the Athens community. After she and Harry moved to Athens, she became a member of the Athens Junior Service League, the Heritage Garden Club and Beech Haven Baptist Church. She and business partner, Gilbert Milner, worked together for many years organizing estate sales.
Lou was an avid gardener who loved planting her vegetable garden each year and sharing the fruits of her labor with friends and neighbors. She was a member of "The Rembrandts" art group under the direction of Sue Marion and called herself a fledgling artist. Lou was a loyal friend and member of the same bridge club for over sixty years. She also loved to travel and was a member of the Road Runners travel group.
Lou was devoted to her family and friends and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a beautiful example of style and grace and lived her life to the fullest.
Private family services were held on April 17 at the Fowler family plot in Ila, Georgia.
