Patricia Mautz

Mrs. Mautz was born in Hot Springs, AR to the late John Robert and Maude Gift Notgrass. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Robert W. Mautz, brother Robert D. Notgrass and grandson Ronald W. Mautz, Jr.

Mrs. Mautz was an avid golfer, a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed spending her summers in Cashiers, NC.

Survivors include sons Ronald W. Mautz and wife Jamie of Dacula, Ga and R. Gregory Mautz and wife Nan of Athens; four grandchildren Elizabeth A. Mautz-Redmann, Jennifer N. Hancock, Robert G Mautz and Matthew T. Mautz, three step grandchildren Kim Banks, Hal Sowders, Jr and Billy Sowders; fifteen great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express its deep gratitude to the Management and Staff of Arbor Terrace of Athens for its love and support for the last five years. “Gammie” was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
