A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Charlie Brooks and Mary Owens Brooks. She loved to dance, fish, travel, cook, play cards and drive fast.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Leon Williams Jr.; and daughter, Shelia Schroder Samples.
Survivors include sons: Anthony Schroder (Cathyann) of Danielsville and Barry Finley (Leah) of Athens; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 20, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home, with the funeral service in the funeral home chapel immediately following the visitation. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
