Born May 5, 1951 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt Charles Ray and Jerlene Jordan Ray.
Becky is survived by her husband, Rodney Couch; two sons, Charles Couch (Natalie) and Steven Couch (Marie); her mother, Jerlene Jordan Ray; her brother, Steve Hoyt Ray; and her two grandchildren, Baxley Couch and Dansby Couch.
Becky was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church, where her steady devotion reflected a life grounded in faith. She found joy in simple pleasures, including playing Bingo and attending The Order of the Eastern Star meetings. Above all, Becky cherished time with her family, holding especially close her beloved grandchildren, Baxley and Dansby.
Becky will always be remembered for her joyful spirit, her love of laughter, the quiet strength behind her kindness, the patience she gave so freely to others, and a faith that never wavered throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Briarwood Baptist Church, 1900 Robinhood Road, Watkinsville, Georgia 30677.
