Rena Mae Smith Brittian

A longtime resident of Clarke County, Mrs. Brittian was the widow of Bill Brittian. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a buyer for Gallant Belk for 27 years. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada as a hostess on numerous bus tours. Mrs. Brittian was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Brittian was born in Carlton, Georgia to the late Claude and Lily Power Smith. Survivors include several cousins; she was the last remaining member of her immediate family.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brittian will be 11:00 a.m, Saturday, January 15, 2011, in the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
