He is preceded in death by his father and mother Eugene and Mildred Duke, and infant sister, Holly Duke.
Robin grew up in Flowery Branch, Ga., surrounded by a large loving family and he was a member of the Flowery Branch Methodist Church.
He was employed at General Motors in Doraville on the Chassis line for many years. He was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing his bass guitar in various bands throughout the years. Robin was a former member of the Flowery Branch Masonic Lodge and was the youngest person at that time to be accepted into the Shriners Association. He loved his outfits, dressed as a Clown. One was a “Hobo” sad face, one a happy face.
Robin was a special brother; a devoted and loving Husband who enjoyed the simple things in life, just being with his wife. They loved to travel throughout the United States in previous years.
He lived the last 5 years of his life in High Shoals Health and Rehab in Bishop, Ga., where he participated in and enjoyed all of the activities and loved the staff.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Duke of 20 years, 4 step-children and 11 step-grandchildren from Good Hope, Ga.; sister; LuAnn and Delwyn Kinney of Cumming, Ga.; niece Hollie, Bobby, and great nephew, Robby St. John, of Lilburn, Ga.; along with other relatives.
Robin was a special man with a sweet personality and tender heart who loved the Lord and always had something nice to say about everyone that he knew and met. He will be miss by many.
No services or celebration of life will be held at this time.
