A native of Cambridge, Ohio, Mr. May was the son of the late Charles and Mary Parker May and was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Elizabeth Schafer. He served in the United States Navy, retired from GMP, and was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Mae Huntsman May of Athens; son, Ricky Allen May and wife, Pam of Cambridge, OH; daughter, Christine Riley and husband, Kim of Watkinsville; grandsons, Matthew Riley and Adam Riley and wife, Morgan; granddaughters, Amanda and Alyssa Riley, and great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Riley.
A memorial service will be held 2PM Monday, September 15th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM prior to the service at Bernstein.
