
A native of Syracuse, New York, Mr. Strzelecki was the son of the late Chester and Anne Rivizzigno Strzelecki. He was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy. He worked for Bristol-Meyers for 18 years before moving to Athens to work for NORAMCO. After he retired from NORAMCO he continued to work for Johnson and Johnson and the University of Georgia as a consultant. He loved to golf and bowl and volunteered every year for the Athens Regional Foundation Golf Classic Tournament (now the Stadion Classic at UGA).
Survivors include his wife Joy Strzelecki of Bogart, children Jill Edinger, Nedrow, NY; Andrea LaQuier, Niceville, FL; Lisa Strzelecki, Sandy Springs, GA; Juli Mitchell, Clarksville, GA; Jason Shields and Whitney Alverson both of Athens; Sisters Sam (Loretta) DeLong, Cape Vincent, NY and Jeannie Smith, Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren Paul Edinger, Joshua Edinger, Nicholas Edinger, Jackson LaQuier, Rachel LaQuier, Lilly Mitchell and Harrison Alverson.
Graveside services will be 11 am Tuesday, November 16th at the Hampton-Whitworth Cemetery with Rev. Luther Fouche officiating. The family will receive friends at Bernstein Monday, November 15th from 6-8 pm.
