He retired from Winn-Dixie and Motion Ind. and was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Grace Weathersbee.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Bevoline; sons, Donnie (Vanessa), Johnny (Connie), Mike; and daughter, Debbie Waddell (Paul); and sisters, Loraine, Lois and Brenda. He was blessed with many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
