She was the beloved mother to nine children, as well as numerous neighborhood children; grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Moorehead; and children, Gerald Moorehead, Karl Moorehead and Jerry Moorehead; her sisters, Rachel Holton, Gwen Alligood and Ty Hobbs; and her brothers, Wesley Parrish, Ernest Parrish and Jimmy Parrish.
She is survived by children, Rickey Moorehead, Dale Bilotta (Bill), Caron Rojas, Sharon Williams (Earl), Wendel Moorehead (Christina), Wanda Magnuson (Randy); and daughters-in-law, Joy Moorehead and Theresa Moorehead.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, at 2:00 p.m., at Mrs. Moorehead’s home, 245 Jefferson Rd., Bishop (North High Shoals).
