I only knew her briefly through her son Burch. I was actually searching for him and discovered this sad news. Although I know it is long overdue, I still want to offer my deepest condolences to Burch and the rest of the Thomas family

So saddened for the loss of Sammie, Buck.  We know that her pain and suffering are all past now and she is whole again in Heaven. She will live on in your heart for as long as you live-- cherish the many fine memories of her.  May God's love, grace, and healing sustain you through your grief.

Buck, So sorry for your loss. It's really a small world, all the years at Oliver and I didn't know to whom you were married. I grew up in Alapaha and every Saturday night when I was a kid (6-11 years of age) we went to the movies in Willacoochee. I knew Sammie as her dad owned the theater and was the gun smith of Willacoochee. Sammie was that long blonde hair beauty that I admired at a distant. Wished I had known and we could have reminisced those Saturdays when Roy Rogers and Gene Autry were on the big screen.

She was my Aunt.  She was funny, sassy, a firecracker of a Lady.  I have very fond memories of her as I grew up in Willacoochee.  She will always bring a smile to my memory of her. My condolences go out to her sisters at this difficult time with their families.

Sammie was a caring co-worker and a fun person to be around. She always had an insightful comment on any situation. Common sense and a good sense of humor were her two gifts.
