A native of Florida, Dr. Hamilton was a daughter of the late Robert S. Hamilton and Lou Block Hamilton. She enjoyed fly fishing and was an avid marksman. Dr. Hamilton retired from Health Services at the University of Georgia.
She was the widow of Dr. Lyman Phillips M.D., who also retired from Health Services at the University of Georgia.
Survivors include several relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
