Sandra Moreland (Keyser) was born August 2, 1946, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Gene and Helen (Rohrbach) Keyser.

She spent her childhood and a good portion of her adult life in Miami, Florida. She graduated from North Miami High School in 1964 and received her Associate's Degree from Miami Dade Junior College in 1966, the year she and Dwayne (Rusty) Moreland were married. Together they raised two sons, Heath (deceased) and Shawn Andrew. The major part of her career was spent working with Rusty in their business, City Compressor Rebuilders. The glue that held their relationship together was their strong faith and trust in God: He guided their decisions and their daily life. Sandra and Rusty also shared many interests, including boating and fishing. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. Sandra and Rusty recently moved to Hull, Georgia, from Charlotte, NC, to be near their son, Shawn and daughter-in-law, Dana.

Sandra was married to Dwayne (Rusty) for almost 54 years and is survived by son, Shawn Andrew Moreland, his wife, Dana; grandchildren, Robyn, Mackenzie, Heather, Savannah, Casey, Kelvin, Colin, Alayna; great-granddaughter Ariel; sister, Terry Downs (Fernando), and a host of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

Sandy and Rusty Moreland enjoyed life. They were always there if anyone needed anything. Our memories are when Sandy and Rusty opened their home for Fellowship Baptist Church. Whenever there was an activity that's where we would be. My husband and I have many wonderful memories because of their hospitality , and love for others. I know she's singing in the heavenly choir with Martha Blundel. Much love and prayers to the family and friends...sincerely, Cliff and Elizabeth Konchak

Sandy was my Sunday School teacher at NW Baptist Church and took a two week break to marry Rusty. She shared God’s word with us in a powerful way and in some things it shaped my Christian walk. I loved her and I’m sure she was a blessing to everyone she had contact with. Praying for Family and friends. We will meet again at the Lords feet
