A native of Oconee County she was the daughter of the late Lee Maddox and Annie Ruth Carson Maddox and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee McAllister. Mrs. McAllister retired from Westinghouse and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include children Bobby McAllister and Ruth Ann Rogers both of Athens and Debbie Hilley and husband Richard of Jefferson; brother Gerald Maddox of Athens; sisters Ella Mae Morrow and Gladys Healan both of Loganville, Mary Dennard of Comer and Peggy Doster of Hull; grandchildren Brandon and Chad Rogers, great grandchild Trenton Parten and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2pm Friday at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Bishop officiating.
