Born in Carteret County, NC, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Vernon Rhue and Bertha Garner Rhue. She was a strong woman of faith and was a longtime member of Mebane Street Church of Christ in Burlington, NC.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Rudolph Miller Sr.; and her son, Archie Rudolph Miller Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Simmons (Tom) of Athens; daughter-in-law, Elaine Miller of Mechanicsville, VA; grandchildren, Courtney Simmons-Dorsey (Richard) of Athens, Keeley Simmons of Greensboro, NC, Oksana Miller and Nick Miller, both of Mechanicsville, VA; and great-grandchildren, Jarron Dorsey and Keiden Dorsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Newport, NC.
