Stephen Eugene Pazian Jr.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Stephen was a long-time resident of the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. He lived for the "Dawgs" on Saturdays in the fall and the Braves from spring through October. He could tell you exactly where he was when the Braves won the 2021 World Series and could vividly describe every detail of the Bulldogs back-to-back National Championship games in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He was a passionate fan of these teams, bled red and black, never missed a game and could recite stats like a seasoned commentator.

Stephen worked as a sales assistant at Nelson Business Products for the past ten and one-half years, where he was known for his work ethic, results and collegial personality. He loved his work family; he was devoted to his friends, like Johnathan Apel and his family, a devotion that spanned more than three decades. He also loved his pet rescue dogs Jenny and Lil’ Bit—they were his “babies.” He regularly went home to care for them during his lunch breaks. Stephen loved to chat and he’d call his father and stepmother on Sundays to talk, laugh and solve all the world’s problems.

He is survived by his loving father, Stephen Eugene Pazian Sr., and his stepmother, Barbara Jordan Pazian; his two sisters, Kristin Pazian Anthony and Jordan Simson Pazian, and his younger brother, Benjamin William Pazian; and his beloved niece and nephew, Morgan and Brandon Anthony. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Maddox Pazian (whom he cared for until she passed), his little brother, Scott Stephen Pazian and his grandparents, Virginia and Eugene Pazian and Henrietta and Clyde Maddox.

Stephen will be buried next to his mother and little brother at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, Georgia. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel, 3195 Atlanta Highway, Athens. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.

Though our hearts are heavy and we’ll miss Stephen very much, we find comfort in knowing that, as a Christian, he will now be in the ultimate luxury suite with his mom and his little brother, where they all will be watching the Braves and the Bulldogs.
