Steve lived a life marked by his deep devotion to Jesus Christ, his unwavering commitment to his family, and a servant’s heart that touched all who knew him. He was the beloved husband of Beth Ann Carson and a proud and devoted father to his four daughters, Maggie, Molly, Emma, and Allie. He also cherished his son-in-law, Justin Beatty, Molly's husband, and welcomed him warmly into the family. Steve’s love for his family was evident in everything he did.
He found joy in the simple and meaningful things—spending time in the outdoors hunting, working with his hands through woodworking, and, most importantly, serving others with humility and kindness. Whether helping a neighbor, supporting a friend, or giving his time to those in need, Steve lived out his faith in action every day.
Steve will be remembered for his gentle spirit, strong faith, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he encountered. His life was a reflection of Jesus’ love, generosity, and devotion, and his impact will continue to be felt through the many lives he touched.
Visitation will be held at The Jefferson Church, 21 Cobb Street, Jefferson, Georgia, on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Steve's life will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the main auditorium at The Jefferson Church.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
