Steven Lawrence “Moose” Lassiter, 56, of “Athens,” passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021.

Born in Manhattan, NY, Moose grew up in Savannah and graduated a “Cadet” from Benedictine Military High School in 1982. Moose was an avid animal lover, having rescued and owned several dogs throughout his lifetime, most notably his beloved Rottweiler, Cyprus. He was also a bike enthusiast and took part in the Bike Ride Across Georgia (BRAG) for many years and supported UGA biking teams.
