Tasha was a lifelong lover of all animals, particularly cats and horses. At age 41, she also befriended an opossum well enough to name him “Henry” (after her grandpa, Henry R Stringfellow) and love him enough to let him lick her foot. Tasha was the life of the party, radiating a kind and caring energy to all who met her. She was a lightning bolt of emotive energy, making her the fastest of friends and fiercest of foes.
She is survived by her partner, Tim Snyder of Madison, GA; her mother, Kay Stringfellow of Bishop, GA; aunts, Sharon Wood of Good Hope, GA and Lois (Dennis) Bishop of Zimmerman, MN; sisters, Tiffany (Robert) Allen of Braselton, GA and Karmyn (Leonard) Costa of Vassalboro, ME; her cousin Taylor Wood; nephews Clayton Allen and Owen Allen; and niece Jade Arbour. She was predeceased by her father on May 2, 2026, James Jorgenson of Greensboro, GA; aunts, Marlys Jorgenson, Jean (Jorgenson) Bird and Linda (Jorgenson) Haugerud and grandparents, Jesse Jorgenson, Amy (Ulen) Jorgenson, Henry R Stringfellow and Patricia (Bentley) Stringfellow.
The family will receive friends from Noon-2:00 pm Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Bernstein Funeral Home on Atlanta Hwy. in Athens, GA — followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Morgan County Humane Society or Georgia Equine Rescue League.
