A native of Norton, VA, Mr. DePriest was the son of the late Thomas L. DePriest, Sr and Cynthia White DePriest and also his step-mother, Vilas DePriest. He retired from Louisiana Pacific.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kiser DePriest of Athens; son, Tommy DePriest of Winterville; daughters, Diane Robison of St. Mountain and Jennifer Berryman of Katy, TX; 3 brothers; 2 sisters, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3PM Thursday, November 10th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
