He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Stephens Tonge, Sr. and Eloise Pope Tonge, and his brothers, Dr. Joel Bradford Tonge, and Dr. Jack Stephens Tonge, Jr.; and nephew, Justin Palmer Tonge; and great-nephew, Lane Gabriel Tonge.
Tim Tonge was kind hearted and always had a smile for everyone. He always had a song to sing.
Tim Tonge is survived by his brother, the Rev. Dr. Samuel Davis Tonge; and twelve nieces and nephews, and sixteen great-nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family graveside service to be scheduled at a future date.
