Mrs. Nicholson was the daughter of the late Joseph and Inez Parham. Mrs. Nicholson retired after teaching 1st grade for 30 years. She received the Teacher of Excellence award from the State of Georgia. She also was a member of Cleveland Road Baptist Church. She was a musician, enjoyed crafts and traveled the world.
Mrs. Nicholson was predeceased by her husband, Lane Nicholson and brother, Weyman Parham.
Survivors are son, Steve Nicholson (Nancy) of Irvine, CA; daughter, Lynn Kinley (Rick) of Bogart, GA. Also one grandchild, Marshall Nicholson of Irvine, CA.
Services for Mrs. Nicholson will be Tuesday at 2pm in the Chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with the visitation from 12:30 to 2pm. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park.
