

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Mae Palmer Arnold and the late Reese Palmer.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bramblett; her son-in-law, Robert Jarrett; sisters, Carolyn Dotson, Verna Nell Otti, Mary Ann Ellison; and brother, Henry R. Arnold. Vera was educated in Athens public schools and employed by Southern Bell telephone company and later by the Clarke County Tax Office.
She was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church, serving God faithfully. Vera loved God and her church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Jarrett; two granddaughters: Laura Baker (Shane) and Katherine Quarles (James); a great-grandson, J.R. Quarles; and a great-granddaughter, Ashlynn Quarles; sisters, Margaret Wright, Jean Patton, Pat and Larry Diunizio; brother, Lee Arnold; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 12, at 2:00 p.m., in the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank Manor Lake administration, staff, and her caregivers, Trinity Health Hospice—especially Lori McLean and Rebecca Duhon, also her caregivers from When Kindness Means More for taking such good care of my Mother. She loved each one of you.
