Born in Moultrie, Mr. Kelley was the son of the late Charlie Burton Kelley and Ruby Baker Kelley. He was a hardworking, strong and independent man that devoted his career to building custom homes.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Loretta Kelley; two daughters, Susie Green and Connie Miller; brother, Preston Kelley; and sister, Dora Bell Kelley.
Survivors include sons, Dewayne Kelley (Alice) of Madison and Gary Kelley (fiancée Viki) of Monroe; and daughter, Sheila Angel of Monroe; brother, Dallas Burton Kelley (Ann) of New Mexico; 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two nephews; and one niece.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 8, at 2:00 p.m., at Cornerstone Christian Center, 257 S. Main St., Madison, with Rev. Gary Pritchett officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
