Dean was born in Clarke County on April 12, 1936 to Alberta and Noel Lucas. She retired after 35 1/2 years with BellSouth and was the widow of Eugene Spivey. Dean was a member of Living Water Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Allan Spivey; cousin, Marcel Faulkner; sister-in-law, Merle White and her son, Daryl; numerous other family members.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 26 at 4 p.m. at Arnoldsville Cemetery with Pastor Tim McDonald delivering the message.
Dean would like to thank her church for all their love and support.
