

On June 9, 2010, Adelle "Fritzie" Gruentzel Robinson’s courageous battle with Parkinson’s came to a peaceful end, with her three daughters and two grand-daughters at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Daniel A. Robinson and parents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene A. Gruentzel.
Fritzie was born in Crandon, Wisconsin on August 10, 1931. She joined the religious life at an early age, becoming a Franciscan Sister. Later, she attended the University of Wisconsin, where she met and married Daniel Robinson. She devoted her life to her husband, three daughters, and four grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Zoe and her husband, Chris Whiting of Marietta GA, Cassandra and her husband, Hack Heyward of Bend OR, and Danielle and her husband, Greg Pierce of Roswell GA. Grandchildren, Chelsea & Cameron Whiting of Marietta GA and Hack & Coe Heyward of Bend OR.
The family would like to thank Compassionate Hospice, Waterford Gardens, and Seniors First Choice for taking excellent care of Fritzie and her family. A special thank you to Mom’s caretakers: Eureka Weems, Binta Haidara, and Stacey Johnson.
Visitation will be held at Patterson’s Oglethorpe Hill, Atlanta, GA on June 16, 2010 from 9:00am to 10:30am. A graveside service will immediately follow at 11:00am at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, GA.
