Mr. Alexander McCollum Tharpe, 53, of Savannah, GA, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. He attended Darlington School and LaGrange College, and worked in radio and advertising sales. Mr. Tharpe was predeceased by his father, Ernest Shaw Tharpe, Sr., and is survived by his son, Alexander Tharpe of St. Simons, GA; mother, Sarah McCall Tharpe; brother, Ernest Tharpe, Jr.; sisters: Susie Click and Sally Rowles. A private memorial is being held.
