Alexis Taylor Buccina

March 11, 1998September 21, 2019

Alexis Taylor Buccina , 21, of Buckhead, GA passed away on September 21, 2019 in Atlanta, GA.

Alexis Taylor Buccina was born in Marietta, GA to Joe and Kim Buccina on March 11, 1998. She went to school at Georgia State University.

Our beautiful Alexis loved life and having a good time. She was kind hearted, sweet and so loving.

She loved her dog Sade so much.

She was our only child and although we wanted so much more time with her we’re devastated that was not the case.

Alexis loved animals. Her dog Sade was her heart and soul. She would feed the pigeons in Venice Italy, and stray dogs in her park.

Her love for people was the same. She had compassion towards everyone. Her home was your home, her food was your food. She loved mightily even if unrequitedly.

Alexis played soccer, basketball, ran track, and was on the swim team. Her trophy case was chock full of accomplishments.

To know her was to know a kind soul. She loved and was loved by us all.

Alexis, we will love and cherish you for eternity.

Alexis Taylor Buccina is survived by Joseph and Kim Buccina.

Funeral/memorial services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.

I’m so sad about Alexis’ passing. Alexis and my daughter Alex were very good friends growing up in Vinings Estates. They swam together and had many sleepovers. They would paint each other’s nails and faces, act silly, and walk the dogs together. They had the mirror selfies down to a science, especially at the clubhouse. Alexis was absolutely drop dead beautiful, smart as a whip, and sweet. I’m so sorry for your loss. Prayers and condolences to your whole family. 🙏🏼
