Allen Reece Colley III

Allen “Marc” Reece Colley III Allen “Marc” Reece Colley III, 47, passed away peacefully January 5, 2014 following a long and valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.  Marc was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.  He was a graduate of Auburn University and a member of Delta Chi Fraternity.  He was employed by Manhattan Associates in Atlanta, GA, and was a devoted Auburn fan and renowned tailgater. Marc is survived by his wife, Frances Akins Colley of Atlanta, GA, daughters Caroline Frances Colley and Madelyn Ruth Colley, parents Allen “A.R.” Reece Colley, Jr. and Mattie “Judy” Julia Colley of Wetumpka, Alabama, brothers Aaron Ray Colley (Mary Catherine) and Anthony Lee Colley (Angel), nieces Reese Julia Colley and Tupper Elizabeth Colley, and a nephew Edward Lucas Colley, all of Auburn, AL. The family will receive friends in Atlanta, GA, Thursday, January 9, from 6:00-8:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30319 and in Wetumpka, AL, Saturday, January 11, from 12:00-1:00pm at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel, 204 E. Charles Ave., Wetumpka, AL 36092.  Funeral will follow at 1:00pm.  Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Eclectic, AL.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Marc's memory may be made to the Marc Colley Children's Education Fund, Attn: Dale Dreyer, Center State Bank, 500 South Florida Ave, Suite 100, Lakeland, FL 33801.
