Ann Phelps Sturtevant

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Phelps Sturtevant, loving wife, sibling and best friend. Ann was born May 21, 1928 in Crawfordville, GA and was the daughter of the late Courtney and Vashti E. Phelps. She was a graduate of Alexander Stephens Institute in Crawfordville and attended Mercer University. Ann was a long time employee of International Plant and Nutrition Institute and was retired from there. Ann was predeceased by her sister, Martha Jane Silsby of Milledgeville. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Carleton W. Sturtevant of Atlanta, GA and brother Courtney E. Phelps (Sandra) of Thomaston, GA. She was a loving and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. It was the wish of the deceased that no formal service to be held. A commemorative gathering will be scheduled. H.M.
