Anne Sykes Hunt

ANNE SYKES HUNT 1927-2014 Anne Sykes Hunt of Brookhaven died November 6, 2014, at the age of 87. She is survived by her son, Tim H. Sykes, of Marco Island, Florida; her sister, Othella McDaniel of Brookhaven; stepsons David Hunt and wife Judy of Surprise, Arizona; stepson Scott Hunt and wife Judy of Lilburn; stepdaughter Cyndi Yeakle and husband Mikel of Tucker; stepson Chris Hunt and wife Leslie of Decatur; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Dinerman, Justin Hunt, Emily Yeakle, Stephanie Massey, and Austin Hunt; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter H. Sykes, Jr., her second husband, David T. Hunt III, and her brother, Frank Tollison. Anne was born January 2, 1927, to Arthur and Bessie Tollison and was a lifetime resident of Brookhaven. She worked at Dun & Bradstreet, Lance Cracker Company, the office of Dr. F.W. Dowda, M.D., and Hunt Color Lab before retiring in 1996. She was a member of Brookhaven United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8, from 4-6pm at H.M. Patterson & Son, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta. Funeral will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 9, at Brookhaven United Methodist Church, 1366 N. Druid Hills Road NE in Brookhaven.
